Debutify Theme 6.0 is Here! You can expect enhanced speed, usability, and customization in this major update.

New

Here are the features that have been added in Debutify Theme 6.0:

New layout settings (Major)

We have introduced layout options, the default and wide view, for sections and add-ons to increase design flexibility.

New add-on (Major)

Introducing the Product Zooming Add-on! This add-on replaces the full-screen image click setting in the product section. Now, you can provide your customers with an immersive and detailed view of your products.



Improvements

Here are the features that have been updated and improved in Debutify Theme 6.0:

Code Revamp for Enhanced Performance (Major)

1. Complete overhaul of theme code for improved structure and speed.
2. Shopify admin score can reach up to a 90-page speed score with an optimized store setup. This is a significant leap from the 20-30 score in version 5.0.

Restructured SCSS Styles (Major)

1. SCSS styles now leverage native CSS features, including variables, functions, and modifiers. 
2. All theme styles do not have a minified theme.css file, so users can easily make changes if needed.

Optimized Translations (Major)

1. Reduced duplicate values, minimizing translation needs.
2. General scope was created for common settings like headings, simplifying translations across the theme.
3. Debutify Theme 6.0 now supports 27 languages, eliminating the need for third-party apps. These languages are as follows:

Optimized Images and Media (Major)

1. All images and media are optimized to the latest standards. 
2. There is no need for third-party scripts like lazysizes.js used in version 5.0.

Script and Asset Management (Major)

1. Scripts for each add-on have individual JS files under the assets folder. These are loaded only where needed.
2. Scripts for global sections have dedicated JS files under the assets folder. These are loaded only when in the view of the customer.
3. All components in theme.js file were separated into individual scripts, which load only when needed, resulting in a faster and more responsive site.

Standardized and improved Settings (Major)

1. Settings for sections and add-ons have been standardized and improved, making it easier to navigate and customize your site. 

Revamped sections (Major)

1. Product and Featured Products sections now feature a block-based structure.
2. There are blocks for default product features like Title, Price, and Variants.
3. There are also blocks for the add-ons like Inventory Quantity, Product Bullet Points, and more.
4. Merchants can reorder these blocks for a personalized layout, breaking from the rigid structure of previous versions.
5. Sections in the theme customizer are grouped into General, Add-ons, Header, and Footer for clarity. Here’s what’s included in each group:
6. General - includes help links to DTM, changelogs, and more.
7. Add-ons - include sections rendered based on specific conditions, like Product tabs, which render in the Product section block.
8. Header - includes sections for the header area visible on all pages, including the Header section, Drawer menu, and Menu bar add-on.
9. Footer - includes all sections included in the footer on every page.

Seamless add-on management (Major)

With the launch of Debutify Theme 6.0, we've also upgraded our login portal, enhancing script tag functionality for optimal management. This new feature allows for the straightforward enabling or disabling of add-ons directly through the portal.

🐞 Fixed: Quantity Break Add-On doubling the discount on the cart page or drawer, causing an incorrect subtotal display. 

🐞 Fixed: Quantity Break Add-On failing to transfer the discount to the checkout page.

🐞 Fixed: Collection add-to-cart text misalignment issue on IOS devices.
